
Sunday, March 31, 2013: She walked back and forth between her mothers small vegetable garden and the stream that trickles through Eh Htoo Hta Refugee Camp. Her village is destroyed and her well being depends on international aid from organizations like ours, Partners Relief & Development. There are more than 4,000 refugees living in this dusty ravine on the bank of the Salaween River. The reforms in Burma haven’t changed anything for this little girl. In fact, as far as she knows, she and her kin are as displaced as the day her family ran for their lives in 2008.
